Superb "Buchbinder" diploma stamped by the Frankfurt am Main bookbinders' guild. It is adorned with a fine baroque frame and a view of the city, all engraved by Cöntgen.
This diploma was awarded in Frankfurt in 1791 to a 20-year-old from Lauffen am Neckar. It specifies his stature, hair color and the length of his training with his masters.
