Set of 208 end-to-end glued leaves measuring a total of 125 x 2100 mm, folded, in a reused period sewn cardboard slipcase (130 x 160 mm); some tears and damaged characters, leaves detached in one place.
Superb staging of popular engravings depicting thousands of figures in military costumes (voltigeurs, tirailleurs, customs officers, zouaves, guards, lancers, etc.), with captions on almost every one.
Many of the figures were cut out individually and then glued together to form rows, creating a parade more than 20 meters long.
