Charming work entirely illuminated on vellum with gold and silver highlights.
It features a nativity on the frontispiece, an illuminated title with Saint Paul, a full-page Marriage of the Virgin and Virgin and Child, and a Christ on the Cross halfway down the page.
The 54 pages of calligraphic text are decorated with borders in different styles, alternating every two pages. The volume also includes a watercolor view of Sarreguemines and one of Précigné.
