[ART DECO]

Wallpaper album from Maison G. G., Paris.

Paris, 1930.

In-4 oblong (240 x 370 mm), gray cloth, smooth spine holding leaves together with three metal dots (Period binding).

An important album containing over 300 wallpaper samples, most of them stencilled.
It offers a superb panorama of the different graphic styles that adorned Parisian interiors in the late 1930s.

The motifs on display are highly varied, often in vibrant hues, sometimes in several color variations, sometimes with gold, silver or iridescent highlights.

A true plunge into the heart of Parisian Art Deco.

This volume opens with the manufacturer's price list, an advertisement for glue, samples of embossed and stained glass papers (damaged), and a palette of solid-colored papers.

A few leaves have been removed from the volume, minor wetness to the first two leaves, but the remainder is in very good condition.
