First edition of this correspondence between the journalist and writer Hippolyte Devillers and the artist Henri Boutet, illustrated by the latter with 10 hors-texte etchings.

One of 50 copies on japon, justified by the artist, including a suite of all the engravings.

Enriched with the monogrammed drawing of the vignette on the title page and 6 autograph postcards, four from Devillers to Boutet and two from Boutet to Devillers, bound at the head of the volume.
