Two parts in one in-4 volume (335 x 220 mm), (6) ff, 292 pp, (4) ff, 317 pp, brown basane embossed with cold-stamped fillets, gilt medallions on each of the boards, gilt fleurons at the corners; binding rubbed and stained, upper case and corners restored, paper defects to the first endpapers and title with small lack, old handwritten bookplate erased from the title, dampstaining (18th-century binding).

Charming Basel edition printed on two columns, giving the ancient Greek and Latin texts of the Iliad and Odyssey, followed by the “Batrachomyomachia”, a hymn and Plutarch's life of Homer.
Both parts have title pages bearing the Brylinger printer's mark.
